“AVATAR” HAS ALMOST CAUGHT UP TO “TITANIC”:
It’s more than obvious now that “Avatar” WILL surpass “Titanic” to become the highest-grossing movie in the history.
—“Titanic’s” worldwide gross stands at $1.843 billion. And, as of last night, “Avatar” had raked in $1.841 billion . . . just $2 million shy. Since “Avatar” had made another $36 million this weekend, it’s a safe bet that it’s got at least another $2 million in it.
—“Titanic” is still the highest-grossing movie in the U.S., with $600.8 million. “Avatar” is only up to $552.8 million.
–But “Avatar” has topped “Titanic” in international box office . . . which means everywhere BUT the U.S. “Avatar” has $1.29 billion, compared to “Titanic’s” $1.24 billion.

You can question Michael Jackson’s personal life. But there is no way you can question his level of talent. This movie was inspirational! JUST WATCH IT . . . . with L . O . V . E . . . . . . . . 😀
There’s a lot of hype around this new movie called “Paranormal Activity”. I purchased my ticket online. I arrived to the theater twenty minutes before showtime. Every seat was taken. I ended up in row 1. I tried my best to watch the film, but I could only take the migraine for 1/2 hour. My neck started to ache. I felt nauseous from the up close and personal viewing. I had to bounce. I’ll try again tonight. Hopefully an hour and half will be enough time to get a decent seat. Here’s a preview:
If you want to see a FUN movie with a lot of gore, go watch Zombieland! I thought this movie was very entertaining. My favorite part involves Bill Murray. I don’t want to give it away, so I’ll leave it at that. Go watch it and you’ll see what I’m talking about. It also had a cute little story that will leave you smiling. 😀 Here’s the trailer.
This non traditional love story was one of the best original movies I’ve seen in a long time. FINALLY a fun and romantic story told in a clever and entertaining way! GO WATCH IT!! I LOVED IT!! Here’s a summary of the film from All Movie Guide:
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel star in director Mark Weber’s wry, non-linear romantic comedy about a man who falls head over heels for a woman who doesn’t believe in love. Mark (Gordon Levitt) is an aspiring architect who currently earns his living as a greeting card writer. Upon encountering his boss’ beautiful new secretary Summer (Deschanel), Mark discovers that the pair have plenty in common despite the fact that she’s seemingly out of his league; for starters, they both love The Smiths, and they’re both fans of surrealist artist Magritte. Before long Mark is smitten. All he can think about is Summer. Mark believes deeply in the concept of soul mates, and he’s finally found his. Unfortunately for Mark, Summer sees true love as the stuff of fairy tales, and isn’t looking for romance. Undaunted and undeterred by his breezy lover’s casual stance on relationships, Mark summons all of his might and courage to pursue Summer and convince her that their love is real. ~ Jason Buchanan
I love to be inspired. Movies inspire me. Whether it’s the message in the film, the way it made me laugh or cry, the direction the story is pieced together, or the amazing choices the actors make, I love movies! I watched MILK the other day with Sean Penn. He is truly one of the greats in acting. He does not ‘act’, but he becomes that character. He transforms into the person in that era or time, and you forget he is ‘Sean Penn’. Actors like him inspire me!
