I made it back from Vegas last night!!  Totally exhausted now, but I had SO much fun!! I’m SO excited about the photoshoot in Sin City!!!  Stay tuned for preview photos coming soon!

This non traditional love story was one of the best original movies I’ve seen in a long time.  FINALLY a fun and romantic story told in a clever and entertaining way!  GO WATCH IT!! I LOVED IT!!  Here’s a summary of the film from All Movie Guide:

Man!  I have a problem!  I sleep walk!  I really do.  It sucks.  I have been taking my MC so serious, BUT last night I ended up with spaghetti in my mouth!!  Seriously!  I sleptwalked into the kitchen, grabbed a bowl of 4 day old spaghetti, and was in the middle of a bite when Miss Tickles licked my foot.  I woke up and said to myself, “What the hell am I doing?!”  At sunrise, I felt like a failure.  But it’s a new day.  The only thing I could do was start fresh!

This morning, I went straight to the sauna to eliminate some spaghetti toxins.  LOL.  Sweating is one of the best ways to detox your body.  I read that if you’re feeling aches or soreness while on the Master Cleanse it’s because of the heavy amounts of waste being released into your body as the cleansing process takes place.  Your body will naturally dispose of this waste, but you can help it almong by sweating some of that waste out in the sauna.  The sauna is also great for your complextion. 😉

This is an iPhone pix of me this morning in the sauna at about 156 degrees.  I have a towel on because I thought that was standard for saunas.  I say “I thought” because some other lady joined me and you’ll never guess what she was wearing.  Actually, why don’t you take a guess… We’ll see if you’re right.

Well, I’ll talk to you later.  I’m headed down to the Hardware store so that I can install a deadbolt on my fridge.

Day 2 was VERY difficult.  I’m glad I stayed strong because I woke up this morning feeling great!  I’m definitely having my moments of fatigue but after a couple swigs, my energy is back up.

I also decided to get a massage today.  I read getting a massage during the MC will help to release waste that’s trapped deep inside your body tissues.  Instead of a traditional Swedish massage, I tried out a Thai Massage for the first time.  Let me tell you, this was the BEST massage I’ve had in a very long time.  I wasn’t allowed to take any photos inside, but I was able to sneak a shot of the paperwork they had me fill out.

Notice how I marked an X on my butt …lol… I don’t like my butt massaged!! LMAO… of course, they completely ignored me, but the way they massaged my rump felt nice so I’ll let it pass this time. 😛

Jay-Z is bigger than The Beatles.  His “The Blueprint 3” has sold 476,000 copies its first week, putting him at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart.  It’s Jay-Z’s 11th No. 1 album, making him bigger than Elvis too.  He now pushes ahead of Elvis Presley as the solo act with the most No. 1 albums.  The remastered Beatles catalog sold a combined 626,000 copies in the U.S. last week, as opposed to 21,000 copies of their catalog the week before. “Abbey Road” was the top seller.

Day 1 on The Master Cleanse wasn’t too bad.  I did have my moments of hunger pains and unusual thoughts of meal combinations.  It’s 9:08 p.m… . squeezing my lemons for tomorrow.

Scientists in South Korea created the world’s first transgenic female beagle dog carrying fluorescent genes that make it glow red under ultraviolet light.  The cloned beagle was named Ruppy (short for Ruby Puppy).

“What’s significant in this work are not the dogs expressing red colors but that we planted genes into them. The glowing dogs show it is possible to successfully insert genes with a specific trait, which could lead to implanting other, non-fluorescent genes that could help treat specific diseases, like Parkinson’s,” said Professor Byeong-Chun Lee.

I’m sure most of you have seen or heard of Kanye West’s classless hijack at the VMA’s.  He stole Taylor Swift’s moment when she won the award for the Best Female Video.  Here’s the video in case you missed it.

Beyonce made things right at the end of the evening, when she won the Video of the Year.  Instead of giving her own speech, she talked about winning her first VMA as part of Destiny’s Child.  She said, quote, “I remember how excited I was.  I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.”  Here’s the video of Beyonce’s classy move …  🙂

I LOVE my iPhone!  It’s the best phone I’ve ever owned, but the service is HORRIBLE!  I’m lucky if I can get any reception to make a call.  AT&T’s exclusive rights to the iPhone ends in 2010.  I read through this New York Times article that basically states that the more users on the AT&T network (iPhone being the biggest network drainer), the worse your service will get.  Here’s a summary of the article:

CUSTOMERS ANGERED AS IPHONE OVERLOAD AT&T

To sum up the article:

• iPhone users use a lot more wireless data than users of other phone models
• AT&T’s wireless network is unable to meet this demand
• Voice services are affected adversely too
• 34% of non-iPhone owners said they did not buy an iPhone because of AT&T’s poor reputation
• Mobile data traffic is expected to double every year through 2013

Chris Brown did not seem genuine at all.  He said on Larry King, “I’m not a man yet!” … no bro, you’re not!  It looked like someone told Chris to dress like an innocent 8 year old boy so people would feel sorry for him.  I’m not too sure if that worked.

Attention Boys and Girls!  This is the reason why you should stay away from drugs.  

Whitney Houston’s much publicized concert on ‘Good Morning America’ was cut short due to her lost voice.  She apologized to the crowd in Central Park for overusing her voice on ‘Oprah’… or maybe it was because of the years of drug use that she lost her amazing voice.   🙁
